Casa Piedra Azul is an incredible property, tucked into the centre of lower Sta Cruz La Laguna, Lake Atitlan. The hall space also functions as an office space too.

In the garden the pathways, made of red and grey laja (stone) from San Marcos, meander through the lush tropical gardens full of fruit trees, plants, and sweet-smelling flowers. At different points the house and gardens have views through the greenery to Lake Atitlan and the Volcanoes. A tubular-steel deck is built among an old Avocado tree perfect for meditation and bird watching.

The garden also offers a temascal (Guatemala sauna) large enough for 6 people and made with cedar benches and a cold-water shower outside.

All wood floors are Mahogany, the kitchen cabinets and closets are of Red Cedar and the furniture is made of Conacaste. The ceiling (machimbre) are made of cypress in both houses. The rooves have fibrocement tiles and there is a state-of-the-art water filtration system and ample wall outlets throughout both buildings. Tha main house has solar hote water with a 50-gallon or 189-litre reserve tank.
